Royskill Academy Private Limited

Royskill Academy is based out in the village of Bajalghat, which is part of the Fatikchara area. We are located at Sri Manik Chand Roy’s place. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't from the village, but the air is much cleaner than in the city. The academy started because we saw a lot of young people around here who wanted to learn things but didn't have a place to go. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or fancy air conditioning. We just have a few rooms with enough space for people to gather. Most days involve a lot of walking around and making sure everyone has what they need for their lessons. We get a lot of mud on the floors when it rains, so there’s a lot of cleaning to do. We aren't trying to be the biggest school around. We just want to be a place where someone can come and pick up a new skill without it being too complicated. Sometimes Sri Manik Chand Roy helps us out with the maintenance of the building. It’s a family-run feel, even if it is a private limited company on paper. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the neighbors who pass by. It’s a slow pace of life in Fatikchara, and we try to match that with how we run the academy.
