We operate out of Bhangamore. It’s a small village and life here is pretty quiet. Farukuddin Ahamed is the person to look for at our place. We are based right at his home. Mathabhanga is where we spend all our time. It isn't a city office with big windows and air conditioning. There are trees around and the post office is just a short walk away. We handle things for the local folks who live nearby. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the roads and the families. It’s not some big corporation with lots of rules. We just wanted to do something useful in Hazrahat. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to get around because the roads get muddy, but we manage. We aren't here to make a lot of noise or get famous. We just take care of what needs doing. The address is simple to find if you know the village. People just point you to the right house. We don't have fancy desks or computers for every person. It's mostly paper and talking face to face. We drink a lot of tea while we sit and talk through things. That’s how things get done in our part of West Bengal. It’s honest work and we don't have a lot of bureaucracy. We just try to be helpful to our neighbors every day. It’s a slow pace, but it suits us just fine.
