You can find our office inside Orbit Mall, which is at the 3rd Mile mark on Sevoke Road. This part of Siliguri is always moving, especially with the mall being a big hub for everyone in the area. We aren't hidden away in some fancy corporate park; we’re right here where the people are. The office handles things for the various Summit properties and we’ve got a small team working here every day. Sevoke Road is usually packed with cars and people heading towards the hills or the city center, so it’s a very energetic place to be based. We don't have a lot of polished brochures scattered around, just desks and computers where we manage the day-to-day business of running hotels. It gets a bit hectic when the mall is busy on weekends, but we just stick to our routine. Most of the people working here are from around Siliguri or the nearby tea gardens, so we understand the local way of doing things. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make sure the rooms are booked and the resorts have what they need to stay running. It’s a lot of coordination and phone calls, but we like being in Orbit Mall. It feels like we’re right in the middle of the action on Sevoke Road, which helps us stay connected to the community and our guests.
