St. Paul High School

St. Paul High School is found on St. Paul Road in the Hatkhola Mangalbarey area of Jaigaon. We are located right in the Jalpaiguri district, close to the border area. It’s a unique spot because Jaigaon is such a busy town with people coming and going. The school itself is a bit of a landmark on this road. We’ve got students from all sorts of backgrounds coming through our gates every morning. The building is old but sturdy, and it’s seen a lot of kids grow up over the years. You can hear the noise of the town from the classrooms, but the teachers are used to it by now. We have a small playground where the kids spend their breaks. It gets quite busy when the school day ends and parents are waiting outside on the road. The staff rooms are usually cluttered with books and papers, which is how a school should look, really. We don’t put on any acts here. We just teach the classes and look after the kids while they are with us. It’s a practical place where the focus is on the basics. Living and working in Jalpaiguri means we deal with the local weather and the local pace of life. It’s just a regular high school on St. Paul Road doing what it’s always done.
