Indian Oiltanking Engineering Project Ltd.

Our office is located in a very quiet part of West Bengal, in a village called Sitai within the Coochbehar district. We are basically operating out of Amar Dutta’s place. It’s quite far from the big industrial hubs, but we manage our engineering projects from here anyway. The surroundings are mostly green fields and small houses. It is a long way from the noise and the crowds of Kolkata. Our daily life involves a lot of remote communication. We spend hours on the phone or trying to get the internet to cooperate so we can send our project reports. It’s a humble setup. We don't have fancy office equipment or a big boardroom. Usually, we just sit around a big table and go over the project plans together. The air is fresh here, but the infrastructure can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We are very much a part of the local village community. Everyone knows who we are and what we do, even if engineering projects seem a bit out of place in such a rural setting. We take things one day at a time. It’s a slow pace outside, but inside we are usually rushing to meet some deadline or another. We don't pretend to be a big corporate office. We are just a small team working out of Sitai, doing what we can to keep these oil tanking projects moving forward in our own way.
