Dakshin Matiali Jr. High School

Dakshin Matiali Jr. High School is tucked away in the Moulani area. You can find us right near the Rail Gate, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to visit. Being in Villpostp.S.- Moulani means we are right in the heart of the village life here. It is a junior high school, so we have the middle-aged kids who are starting to grow up fast. The sound of the trains passing by is just part of our day now; we don't even notice it much anymore. The school is not very large, but it has a lot of character. We have to work hard to keep the grounds looking decent, especially when the weather gets rough. There is a lot of green around us, which is nice. We don't have a big office or a polished reception area. Usually, you’ll just find one of us walking around the yard or checking on a classroom. We focus on the daily tasks, like making sure the chalk is stocked and the benches are in good shape. It’s a very local operation. Most of the families around here know us by name. We don't put on any acts or try to seem like something we aren't. We are just a village school near the tracks, doing our best to provide a place for the local kids to spend their day and learn something useful. It is a simple place, but it works for us.
