Cheersi Beverage Industries

It is pretty quiet out here in Dhang Dhingguri Village. We started Cheersi Beverage Industries a few years ago because we wanted to do something local. Our building is near the Dhang Dhingguri Post Office, so it is easy to find if you are around Cooch Behar II Block. We mostly make drinks that people can buy at the small stalls nearby. The weather gets really hot in this part of West Bengal, so there is always a need for something cold. We are not a big fancy operation with lots of suits and meetings. Most of the people working here are just neighbors from the village who needed a job. We spend our days checking the bottles and making sure the machines are running right. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it with whatever tools we have. It is not always easy, but we manage to get the crates out on time. The roads can be a bit bumpy, which makes deliveries a challenge. We do not have a big office or a marketing team. We just have a workspace and some storage for the ingredients. It is a simple life and we like being part of the village community. We focus on making enough so that the local shops do not run out. It is steady work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening.
