Arindam Jana

This place is in Kumarpur, right near the Co-operative Bank in the Purba Midnapur district. Arindam Jana is the name we go by here. It is a local operation through and through. We don't have a big office building or any of that fancy stuff you see in the bigger cities. It is just a simple room where we handle our business. Being near the bank is helpful because everyone in the village knows where that is. We spend our days dealing with the locals and sometimes people coming in from the surrounding areas. The pace of life is a bit slower here, which suits us just fine. We do not use any high-tech equipment, just the basics to keep our records straight. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit muddy, but we still open up every day. We are not trying to be the biggest company around. We just want to do a decent job and earn a living. The walls are a bit bare and the furniture is old, but it is comfortable enough for us. We know our customers and they know us. There is no need for anything more than that. We just take it one day at a time and see what needs doing. It is honest work and we are proud of what we do. It is quiet most of the time, and we like the peace while we work on our tasks.
