We are situated in N.K. Palayam, over in Jaya Nagar. Coimbatore is a busy city, but our little corner at 3B is relatively straightforward. The bank is just a place where we come to work every morning. We handle the usual stuff like deposits and withdrawals for the local people. We have a mix of old and young customers. Some of them have been coming here since we first opened this branch. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on being here every day when the doors open. The office is plain, just the basics you need for a bank. We talk about the local news or the weather while we work. It’s a simple environment. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but we get used to it. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We are just bank employees doing our jobs in this part of Tamil Nadu. We try to be honest and direct with everyone. It’s not always easy, especially when the systems are slow, but we do our best. We appreciate the people who choose to come here instead of the bigger branches downtown. It feels like we are serving our own neighborhood. We finish up in the evening and head home to our families. It’s a regular life and we are okay with that. There is no need for anything more complicated in our daily routine.
