Walkaroo Foundation

Walkaroo Foundation is based at 10-12 in the Sidco Industrial Estate. This is in the Malumichampatty area of Coimbatore. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by factories and big warehouses. It is not the quietest place to work, as there are always trucks moving in and out of the gates nearby. Our office is more like a functional workshop space than a polished office. We have plenty of room for our files and the small team we have here. The floors are concrete and the walls are a plain white. We don't spend much on decorations because we are more focused on the work itself. Most of our staff come from the nearby villages and they know the industrial layout well. We usually have our lunch at the small tea stalls just outside the estate gates. It’s a very practical environment. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll likely find us buried in paperwork or talking about the next project. The address is easy for deliveries, which is good because we get a lot of mail. We have been here for a while and have gotten used to the sound of the machines next door. It’s just a regular workplace where people work hard and don't make much of a fuss about things. We keep our schedules simple and just do what is required each day.
