Velplast ( Unit Ii )

Our setup here at Site No.9A in the industrial estate is pretty straightforward. The estate gets quite busy around noon when all the trucks are trying to move at once. Our spot is right on Annapuram School Road, so we hear the kids and the buses throughout the day. Unit II is where most of the work happens for Velplast. It’s not a fancy place, just a lot of machines and people doing their jobs. Some of the guys have been here since we first moved into S.F.No.86/2B. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks near the back entrance. We spend most of our time dealing with plastics and keeping the schedules on track. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but that’s just how it is around here. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the morning shipments to arrive. The road outside can get a bit muddy during the monsoon season, which makes loading the trucks a real pain. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the ledgers and a couple of old chairs that have seen better days. It isn’t much to look at, but it’s where we get everything done. The neighbors at the other sites are mostly quiet, except when they are unloading metal. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the estate over the years. It’s just a normal workplace with plenty of noise and a lot of things to move every single day.
