Velan Gears

We have been here at number 3 in Sihs Colony for quite a while now. Most people around Singanallur know where the shop is because we have stayed in the same spot through everything. Dealing with gears is what we do day in and day out. It is dusty work sometimes and the machines make a lot of noise, but that is just how a workshop goes. My father started things off and now we just keep the momentum going. We do not have a big fancy office or anyone sitting at a front desk to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us covered in grease near the lathes. It gets hot in the afternoons here but we stay busy. People bring in parts that are worn out or broken and we see what can be done to fix them or make a new one from scratch. It is not a complicated setup we have. Just the tools, the materials, and a bit of patience to get the teeth on the gears lined up right. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait it out, but that is just part of being in this area. We are not trying to be the biggest place around. We just want to make sure the work is solid so when a customer puts a part back into their machine, it actually runs like it should. That is pretty much the whole story of Velan Gears. We are just here working.
