Nandeesh Traders

Right at No.131 Aerodrome Mahathma Gandhi Road is where you’ll find Nandeesh Traders. Being in S.I.H.S Colony means we get a lot of local traffic and noise from the nearby roads. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things pretty high to make everything fit. Sometimes it’s a bit of a struggle to find a specific item tucked away in the back, but we usually know where everything is. We spend most of our mornings unloading supplies and getting the front area ready for whoever walks in. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting bags and boxes. The air smells like dust and old paper sometimes. We don't have a fancy computer system for everything, so a lot of notes are just scribbled down in ledgers. Customers come in and chat for a bit while we look for what they need. MG Road is always busy, so there’s a constant hum of engines outside our door. It’s a practical kind of place. We don't put up many decorations or anything like that. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re too busy with the daily trade to worry about it. We just focus on the stock and the people who buy it. It’s a simple routine that repeats every day from Monday to Saturday. We like the neighborhood even if it’s a bit loud at times.
