Veeyes Alloys (P) Ltd.

You can find Veeyes Alloys at the Athipalayam Pirivu junction in Ganapathy. We occupy the units from 3C1 to 3C4. It's a decent-sized space for what we do, which is working with different types of alloys. Most of the guys here have been with us for years. We do a lot of melting and casting, so it gets pretty warm inside the shop floor. There’s always a bit of soot and metal shavings around, but we sweep up at the end of every shift. We aren't a corporate office with suits; we’re more of a boots-and-overalls kind of place. The paperwork gets done on a wooden desk in the corner of the main unit. People send us drawings or samples and we figure out how to cast them. It’s a lot of trial and error sometimes to get the mold just right. We have a few old machines that still work better than the new ones. The neighborhood is mostly industrial, so we fit right in with the noise. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a pour before the metal cools down too much. It’s physical work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We don't have a website that's updated often or a fancy logo. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here in Ganapathy long enough for people to know our name. It's just honest metal work at the end of the day.
