Our place is located down in the Sidco Industrial Estate in Malumichampatty. If you know the area, you know it's mostly factories and warehouses. We've been here at Veekesy Footcare for a good bit of time. It's a practical spot for what we do, since we need the space for the footwear production and moving goods around. The roads around here get a bit dusty in the summer, but that’s just life in an industrial zone. We start early in the morning and the machines keep going until late. It's a lot of hands-on work. Most of the staff live nearby, so we're a bit of a local crew. We don't spend much time on fancy office decor because we're usually out on the floor or dealing with the logistics. There's always a truck being loaded or unloaded at the gate. Sometimes the power cuts out, which is a pain, but we have backups for that. It’s not a glamorous job, but we take it seriously.
