Veejpee Aluminium Foundary

We operate our business out of No.9 on Sowri Palayam Road. We are not far at all from Sujini Mills. Being an aluminium foundry, the place is always a little bit smoky and the temperature stays pretty high around the furnaces. We work specifically with aluminium metals here. Melting the metal down and pouring it carefully into molds is what we do all day long. It is a heavy and tiring job, and you really have to be careful where you step on the floor. We have got a small team of workers, mostly local guys who live in the neighborhoods nearby. The foundry has its own particular rhythm, from the loud sound of the cooling fans to the constant clinking of the metal parts. We do not have a shiny showroom or a place for customers to sit. If you want to see what we are doing, you just come to the front gate and look inside the shop. We have been at this same location for many years, and the neighbors have gotten used to our noise by now. Sometimes the molds do not set quite right, and we just have to break them down and do them over again. It is just a part of the natural process. We do not use any fancy jargon, we just talk about the metal and the heat.
