Atlas Elevators And Equipments is over on Kamarajar Road, right near the Lines stop. It’s a noisy part of Varatharajapuram, and there’s always a bus or a truck pulling up nearby. We spend our time here dealing with elevator parts, cables, and all the heavy machinery that goes into keeping lifts moving. The shop floor is usually covered in a bit of oil and dust, but that’s just part of the job when you’re working with gearboxes and motors all day. We aren't wearing suits or sitting in air-conditioned cubicles. Most of the time, we’re in our work clothes, checking specs or loading equipment onto the back of a van. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We have some storage out back for the bigger components and a small desk area where we take the calls. When someone’s elevator stops working, they call us, and we try to figure out what part they need or send someone over to take a look. It’s a lot of physical work and sometimes the parts are heavy and stubborn. We don’t have a flashy website or a big sales team. It’s just us here at number 237, trying to keep up with the demand for repairs and parts. The sign outside has faded a bit from the sun, but people know where to find us. We just keep our heads down, do the work, and make sure we don't lose track of any orders in the middle of a busy week.
