Our office is situated in the Mayflower Valencia building, right on Avinashi Road. We are specifically on the VIIth floor, in Office 3A. The Nava India area of Coimbatore is usually bustling with activity. It is a good location for Uthkrishta Imports Exports (OPC) Private Limited because we are close to many other businesses. Being on the seventh floor gives us a bit of a view, though we are usually too busy with spreadsheets to look out the window much. The building is modern enough, but our actual office is pretty plain. We have the usual setup: chairs, tables, and a few filing cabinets that are starting to overflow. Dealing with imports and exports as a one-person company setup means there is always a huge list of things to do. I spend a lot of time on the phone or tracking containers online. Sometimes the elevators in Mayflower Valencia take forever, which is a bit of a pain when you're in a hurry. The traffic on Avinashi Road is almost always heavy, so getting in and out of the office takes some planning. It is a lot of juggling different tasks all at once. I do not have a big staff, so it is a very direct way of working. There are no fancy presentations here, just honest work and trying to keep the shipments moving. Most days end with a desk full of notes for the next morning. It is a steady rhythm for us in this building.
