Unique Plastics

Our place is called Grace Cottage. It is C-190 in the Cheran Colony area. We are located in Thudialoor, which is a bit of a drive from the main Coimbatore city center. Most people around here know the neighborhood. It is a quiet street usually. Unique Plastics is just a small operation we run from this spot. The pincode is 34. We have been here long enough that the neighbors know us by name and stop to chat. The gate is painted green but the paint is peeling a little bit now. Sometimes the wind gets quite strong coming off the hills in the afternoon. We keep the machines running through most of the day. It is a lot of hard work and the floor gets a bit dusty no matter how much we sweep. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. Just the workspace and a small area for coffee. My brother helps out with the deliveries when it gets busy. We try to keep things organized but sometimes boxes pile up near the door. The address is easy to find if you are coming from the main road. Just look for the signs for Cheran Colony. We like the area because it is not as crowded as the city center. It feels like a home because it is a cottage after all. We started with just one machine and grew bit by bit over the years.
