Our place, Unijet Pneumatics Pvt.Ltd., is located at 9/1 and 9/1A in the Jaganathan Industrial Estate. This is over in the Chinnavedampatti area, specifically on Athipalayam Road. It’s a bit of a trek if you are coming from the main city, but the estate has enough space for what we do. We have been working with pneumatics for a good number of years now. The workshop is organized into different sections, but it’s not always perfectly clean because we are always testing things or fixing parts. We have some office space near the front where we handle the orders and talk to customers on the phone. The road outside can get quite dusty when the heavy trucks pass by. We usually start quite early before the sun gets too hot to work comfortably. Most of the people working here live nearby, so it is a bit of a local crew. We don't have a big marketing team. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been at this spot for years and people know the address. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in so we can finish a job. It is just part of running a business in this part of town. We keep things simple and try to do the work right. The address is long, but once you find the industrial estate, we are easy to spot.
