Uma Chandrika Arts & Antiques

We are located at 64, Dr Nanjappa Road in the Gandhipuram area. It is a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise from the cars and buses passing by outside. Our shop is filled with all sorts of old things and bits of art that we have collected over time. It is not the most organized place in the world, if I am being truthful. There are stacks of things in the corners and items hanging from the walls. People come in just to look around sometimes, and that is fine with us. We spend a lot of our time dusting things off and trying to find space for new arrivals. It is a bit of a dusty job, but someone has to do it. We do not have a fancy website or a big staff. It is usually just a couple of us here making sure everything is where it should be. The light in the shop is a bit dim in the back, but it helps keep the temperature down during the summer months. Most of the pieces we have come from different places, and each one has its own little story, though we do not always know all the details. It is just a regular shop where we sell things that have been around for a while. We like being in Gandhipuram because everything is close by. It is a practical location for a business like ours.
