The Anugraha Fashion

We’ve been running this shop at 181 Raja Mill Road for quite some time now. Pollachi is a busy place, and this road always has something going on with the mills nearby. It isn't a massive showroom or anything like that. It is just a regular shop where we keep a variety of clothes for the local people. We have things for everyday wear. My brother and I take turns sitting at the counter. Sometimes our cousins come by to help when it gets crowded on the weekends. The shelves are usually full, and if they aren't, it means the delivery is late again. That happens more often than we would like. We don't have a big fancy sign outside. People just know us by now. We recognize the faces that walk in. Most of our customers live right here in the neighborhood. We talk about the weather or how the crops are doing while they look at the shirts. The fan in the back makes a bit of a clicking noise, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just sell clothes and try to be fair with everyone who comes through the door. It is a simple way to make a living. We open up early and close when the street starts to get quiet. There is always plenty to do, from folding things to sweeping the floor after a long day.
