Our place is at 4/13 Karuppakavundampalayam Road. If you tell a driver to drop you near the Tamil Theatre Bus Stop on Palladam Road, you’re basically there. It’s a busy spot with people always waiting for the bus right outside. We’ve been operating from here for a while. It’s a mix of office work and handling materials. We aren't some big city firm with glass walls. It’s an older building that has seen a lot of use. We usually have rolls of fabric or stacks of boxes near the entrance. The ceiling fans hum all day long. We start early because the road gets noisy and hot once the sun is up. Most of the staff live nearby, so we all walk or bike in. It’s a small group of us. We spend our time checking orders and making sure the inventory is where it should be. We don't have any fancy brochures. If someone wants to know what we have, we just show them the stacks. The bus stop outside is a good landmark, though it makes the front a bit crowded in the evenings. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a steady routine. Nothing flashy, just the way we like it. We usually close up once the last bus load of people clears out and the street gets quiet.
