Techno Electronics & Instruments

Our shop is located at 10/13-A on Amman Kulam Road in Pappanickenpalayam. It’s a busy little area and we’ve been here for a good number of years. Techno Electronics & Instruments is basically what the name says. We deal with a lot of small parts, circuit boards, and measuring tools. If you walk in, you’ll see shelves filled with various components and gadgets that need fixing or testing. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we have those magnifying lamps for the delicate work. It’s a bit cramped because we have a lot of stock squeezed into the space. We spend hours hunched over workbenches with soldering irons. Sometimes the smell of melting solder is quite strong. People from the nearby industries often drop by when a meter stops working or they need a specific sensor. We aren't a big factory; it's more of a workshop feel. We know the other shop owners on Amman Kulam Road pretty well. We often share a tea in the afternoon when things slow down a bit. Our walls are covered in old calendars and notes we’ve scribbled over time. It is just a local spot where we use our hands and brains to keep electronics running. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here long enough for people to know our faces and what we do in this neighborhood.
