We are over here in 5th Street, Ansari Nagar. It’s a busy spot in Madurai and we’ve been around Mahaboob Palayam for a while now. Most days it’s just us looking at TV sets and trying to figure out what went wrong with the boards or the screens. My sons help out a lot which is why we have the name like that. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons so we usually have the fan going full blast while we work. People from around the neighborhood drop by with their sets. Sometimes they just want to ask a quick question about why the picture is fuzzy. We don’t do anything fancy, just standard repair work and keeping things running. The shop isn't huge but we have enough space for the tools and the spare parts we keep in the back. It’s a family thing really. We know most of the faces on this street. You can find us right near the corner. We try to get things done when we say we will, though sometimes the parts take a bit longer to arrive from the main market. That’s just how it goes in this business. We like being in this part of town because it feels like home and everyone knows where to find the TV guys when something breaks. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day.
