Suriya Machines

You can find us over at 307-B, Ellaithottam Road in Peelamedu. Suriya Machines has been a part of this neighborhood for a good long time. Peelamedu is full of workshops and small factories, so there is always the sound of metal hitting metal in the background. Our shop floor is usually a bit oily and there are iron shavings everywhere. We spend most of our hours over lathes and drill presses. It is honest work and it gets our hands dirty every single day. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If someone comes by, they usually just walk straight into the workshop and find one of us. We talk about specs and sizes over the noise of the machines. The weather gets pretty hot in Coimbatore, so we keep the big doors open to let some air in. Sometimes a stray dog wanders in for shade. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny signs. Most of our work comes from the other shops around here that need parts made or fixed. It's a simple setup with a few loyal workers who have been here since the start. We just focus on making things that work and making sure they get delivered on time. It's a busy life, but we like being around the machines.
