Rimus Overseas

I guess we’ve been here at No. 1/11 Vaathiyar Street for longer than I can remember. Rimus Overseas is basically just a few of us trying to keep things moving. Maachampalayam is a busy area, especially with the Mariamman Koil Street traffic nearby, so there’s always noise coming through the door. We handle stuff for people looking to send things or deal with overseas work, which sounds a bit more complicated than it actually is day-to-day. Most of our time is spent on the phone or looking at forms. The office isn’t much to look at, just some old desks and a printer that jams whenever we’re in a hurry. You’ll find us right there near the temple street. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full blast. People drop by without calling first, and that’s fine. We know the neighbors and the guy who sells tea at the corner. We aren't some big corporation with fancy lobbies, just a local spot in Sundarapuram. Sometimes we get behind on the filing, but the work gets done eventually. It’s a simple setup, really. If you’re walking down Vaathiyar Street, you’ll probably see our sign, though it might need a bit of a wash. That’s just how it is here. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to make sure nobody walks away frustrated with their paperwork or whatever they came in for.
