Sudham Hosieries

Our place is located in the Muthusamy compound over in Thaneerpanthal Colony. If you know Tirupur, you know how busy it gets with all the knitting and stitching going on. We specialize in hosiery. That means lots of cotton, thread everywhere, and the sound of sewing machines all day long. It's a bit crowded in Anupparpalayam, but we make it work. We’ve got a small team. Some handle the cutting, others are on the overlock machines. We aren't trying to be some giant international brand. We just focus on getting the vests and underwear stitched up right so they last. The weather gets really hot here in the summer, so the fans are always blowing fabric scraps around the floor. It’s messy sometimes, but that’s what a real workshop looks like. We source our yarn locally because that’s what makes sense here in the textile hub. Sometimes orders come in fast and we’re working late to finish the packing. Other times it’s a bit slower and we have time to maintain the equipment. We've been in this same spot for years. Most of our workers live nearby in the colony, so we’re all like neighbors. We don't do much fancy advertising or anything. People just know our quality from word of mouth. It's a simple business built on hard work and lots of caffeine during the busy shifts. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines running. It is what it is.
