Suba Industries

Down here in Coimbatore, specifically on 3rd Street in Thiru Nagar, we run Suba Industries. This part of Selvapuram is full of small shops and workshops, and we are right in the middle of all that noise. We spend most of our time around machines and metal parts. It gets loud in the shop, and there is always that smell of oil and iron in the air, which you just get used to after a week on the job. We have been here for a good while, and most of the guys working the floor live nearby in the neighborhood. It’s a straightforward setup for us. We take orders, we make the parts, and we send them out to whoever needs them. Sometimes the power goes out, which is a real pain, but that’s just how it is working in this part of town. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. We just focus on the lathes and making sure the dimensions are correct. Most of our clients are other local businesses who need stuff made to order. We drink a lot of tea during the breaks and talk about the news or what's happening on our street. It’s a decent life, and we take some pride in seeing a finished product packed up and ready to go. The street outside is narrow, so getting the bigger trucks in can be a puzzle, but we always find a way.
