Sri Vigneshwara Limes & Minerals

Sri Vigneshwara Limes & Minerals is based at 1B, 1st Street, in the KRR Layout area off Mangalam Road. It’s a decent spot, though the road can get a bit bumpy when the rain hits. We focus on lime products and various minerals that we get from the surrounding areas. The yard is usually full of white dust, which is just part of the deal when you work with lime. We have a small office that’s mostly used for keeping the books and taking calls. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you might see my kids running around or my wife helping with the paperwork in the afternoon. We don’t have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just us and a few workers who help with the shoveling and bagging. The heat can be pretty bad in the middle of the day, so we usually start early and take a long break when the sun is highest. Most of our customers are builders or people from the nearby factories who have been buying from us for years. We don’t do much in the way of selling ourselves; the product usually speaks for itself. It’s a lot of physical labor and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly so nothing spills on the way to the site. We just try to stay honest and do a good job for the folks who rely on us for their materials.
