We are based over in Sriram Nagar, which is in the Karumapalayam area of Avinashi. If you are coming from Tirupur or Coimbatore, it is not too far away. Our office is located at S.F. No. 205/1. It is a bit of a growing neighborhood with new buildings coming up. We run a chit fund, which is a big part of how people save money around here. People use the funds for all sorts of things, like weddings or building a small house. We see a lot of workers from the textile factories because Tirupur is so close. Most people find us through word of mouth rather than any ads. The office is not very big. It is just a regular room with some ledgers and a computer that sometimes acts up. We have been doing this for a while now. Auction days are the busiest for us. The office gets full of people and it can get quite loud. We try to keep everything organized so that everybody gets their turn fairly. Handling other people’s money is a big responsibility, but we have a good routine down. We mostly deal with locals from around Karumapalayam. If you live in this area, you have probably seen our board outside. We are not trying to be a big corporate bank. We are just a small private company doing our part for the folks nearby. It is steady work that keeps us occupied.
