Sri Thanga Maligai

Our business, Sri Thanga Maligai, is located at No. 316 on Raga Street. We are very close to the Annapoorana Gowrishankar Hotel, which is a big landmark around here. The smell of the food from the hotel often drifts over to our shop. Raga Street is always full of people, so it never feels quiet. We spend our time inside at No. 316, making sure things are in order. We don’t have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just have the name Sri Thanga Maligai on the sign so people know where we are. The building is older, and the street gets quite messy when it rains, but we keep our space tidy. It is a practical place to work. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most polished business in the area. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to stop by. Being near the hotel helps people find us easily, as Raga Street can be a bit confusing if you aren't from here. We have seen other shops come and go, but we are still at No. 316. There is no big mission or anything like that. We just do our work, talk to the locals, and keep the fans running to beat the heat. It is a very normal, everyday kind of life for us here in this part of the city.
