Sri Skantha Guru Kiruba Foundation

Our office for Sri Skantha Guru Kiruba Foundation is at 17/8 Venjatrangam Pillai Street in Triplicane. If you know Chennai, you know how busy Triplicane can be. The streets are narrow and always full of people, bikes, and cows. We are right in the heart of all that activity. It’s a small space, tucked away in an older building. We’ve been operating from here for quite a while now. It’s not a quiet place, but it has a lot of life. We spend our days coordinating our foundation’s work, which involves a lot of phone calls and paperwork. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just a simple door and a few desks inside. Most of us who work here grew up around this area, so we are used to the pace. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the street gets flooded during the rains, but we just keep going. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us doing what we can. People often drop by without an appointment just to talk or ask for help with something. We try to keep things informal and welcoming. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of files, but it’s our home base. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny office. We just want to get our work done in the community we know best.
