Sri Sai Eye Clinic & Opticals

Sri Sai Eye Clinic & Opticals is at No 9/14 on Cross Cut Road in Gandhipuram. This road is one of the busiest in the whole area. There are always people shopping and cars honking outside. Our shop is a mix of a clinic and a place to buy glasses. We have rows of frames on the walls and a small room in the back where the eye testing happens. It’s a practical setup. When someone comes in, they usually look at the frames first while waiting for their turn with the eye chart. Cross Cut Road is famous for its shops, so we fit right in. We spend a lot of time adjusting frames and making sure the lenses are just right. It’s a lot of fine work with small screws and glass. The shop isn't very wide, but it goes back a bit. We keep the mirrors clean so people can see how they look in new spectacles. Sometimes we get people just coming in because they broke their old glasses and need a quick fix. We don't do anything flashy. We just sit here on Gandhipuram’s main stretch and help people see a bit clearer. The morning sun comes right through the front glass, which is nice until it gets too hot. Then we pull the shade down halfway. It’s just a normal daily routine for us here in the shop on Cross Cut Road.
