If you drive down to Sri Lakshmi Nagar in K. Vadamadurai you will find us at 1/375. It is a quiet enough area compared to the main city center. We spend our days working on drives and small parts that need to be exactly right. My father used to say that if you rush the work you just end up doing it twice so we take our time. The machines hum all day and it becomes a sound you don't even notice after a while. We aren't a massive factory with thousands of people. It’s just a small team of us who know how to handle the tools. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. That is just life here. We get our hands greasy and we wear old clothes because there is no point in trying to stay clean in a place like this. The post office is nearby so getting mail is easy enough. We have some regulars who have been coming to us for years because they know we are just around the corner. It is a steady life and we don't ask for much more than that. The floors are concrete and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint but the work gets done regardless. We stay until the job is finished even if it gets late.
