Sri Annai Bags

Sri Annai Bags is located at No. 5 M.G.R. Nagar 3rd Street. If you know where Shanthi Theatre is on P.N. Road, we are right behind it. It’s a quiet enough street, tucked away from the main road noise. We make bags here. It’s not a big factory or anything, just our workspace where we get things done. We’ve been in this part of M.G.R. Nagar for a bit now. Most days you’ll hear the machines running as soon as you get close to the door. We handle a lot of different materials. Some days the floor is covered in fabric scraps and thread. It’s a bit messy, but that’s just part of making things by hand. We aren't really set up like a big store. It’s more of a place where we work and people stop by to see what we’re doing or pick up an order. Being behind the theatre makes it easy for locals to find us. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the stitching. We focus on the work at hand. Sometimes the heat gets to us in the afternoon, but we just keep going. It’s a simple setup. We have our sewing stations and the cutting table. Nothing fancy, just a local spot where we put in the hours every day. We just stay busy with the orders and keep the machines going.
