Sree S Architects

Sree S Architects is located at 188, T V Swamy Road. We are right in the middle of R S Puram in Coimbatore, which is a pretty active part of town. If you know where the Puma Showroom is, we are very close to that. It's easy. Our daily routine involves a lot of sketching and looking at computer screens to get building designs right. R S Puram is a place where there's always a lot of shopping and people moving around, so being here is interesting. We aren't a massive firm with a hundred employees. We are just a small group of people who enjoy the process of architecture. Sometimes we spend hours arguing about where a window should go or how a roof should look. It’s not always glamorous, and there’s a lot of boring math involved too. We try to make sure the buildings we design actually make sense for the weather here in Coimbatore so they don't get too hot or leaky when the monsoon rains eventually come through the city. Our office is usually covered in site plans and old coffee mugs. We don't have a team of people to clean up every five minutes. Most of our clients are local folks looking to build a house or a small shop. We’ve been at this 188 address for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. We just keep doing our thing, one plan at a time, without much fuss or bother. It is just what we do.
