Spelmech

Our address is a bit confusing because it has a New No. 10 and an Old No. 12/13. We are in PMR Nagar, over in the Edayarpalayam area. If you ask around, most people can point you toward our gate. Spelmech is a place where we mostly focus on mechanical parts and small repairs. We have been in this building for quite a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are more focused on what is happening on the workbenches. It is a family-run kind of vibe here. We have three or four people who show up every day and we just get to it. The neighborhood is mostly residential with a few other small businesses mixed in. It is nice because it isn't too hectic compared to the city center. We have a small yard in the back where we keep some of the scrap metal and older parts we might need later. Most of our mornings are spent drinking tea and talking about the schedule for the day. We do not do much advertising or anything like that. People usually find us because someone else told them we could fix whatever they have. It is honest work and it keeps us busy enough to pay the bills. We try to keep things tidy, but when you are working with oil and metal, it is hard to stay perfectly clean. That is just the way it goes.
