Our office is located in Iswaryam Gardens, which is part of Kvpm Village. It’s a bit out of the way compared to the city center. We are at Site No. 61. The surroundings are actually quite peaceful which is a nice change. We’ve got Sf No. 390 and 391 / 1 as our plot numbers. It’s more of a residential-style setup than a typical office block. Speleological Association Of India is based here because we like the quiet environment. There’s more space here than we would get in the city. Sometimes we see cows wandering around the village roads outside. It’s a slow pace of life here. We spend our time working on records and organizing our equipment. The office isn't very large but we make it work. We have a few shelves filled with books and old maps that we’ve gathered over the years. Some of the locals know us now. We get a fair bit of dust coming in from the open fields nearby so we are always cleaning the desks. It’s a simple life out here. We don’t have fancy coffee machines, just a basic stove for making tea. Most of us enjoy being away from the noise of the main highway. It feels more grounded. We handle our day-to-day work without much fuss. If you’re coming to see us, the roads can be a bit bumpy. We just deal with the dust and keep going.
