My Boutique

My Boutique is tucked away on 7th Street in Annamalai Nagar. We are at number 10. Sowripalayam is a good area to be in. We spend most of our mornings opening up and getting things ready for the day. It is not a very big shop but it fits what we need. We do things our own way here. There isn't a team of managers or anything like that. Just us. We handle the clothes and the customers ourselves. Sometimes the street gets a little crowded with parked bikes but that is just part of being in this part of town. We’ve been here for a bit and have gotten to know the people around 7th Street. It’s nice to have regular faces stop in. We don't spend money on glossy brochures. We'd rather just show people what we have in stock. The lighting inside could be better sometimes but it works for us. We keep the place tidy but it's a working shop, so there's always something to move or fix. Being in Annamalai Nagar feels right. We aren't trying to be the biggest boutique around. We just want to do our job well at number 10. Most of the time we are just chatting with folks or folding items. It’s a quiet life mostly. We like the pace here. It's a bit slower than the city center and that suits us perfectly fine.
