Sindhu Kala Sagaram

You can find Sindhu Kala Sagaram tucked away on 8th Street in Ganapathy Pudur. We are at number 9. It is a quiet enough street compared to the main roads around here. Our place is basically a workshop where we deal with different kinds of art and craft items. It is usually a bit cluttered because that is just the nature of what we do. There are always materials lying around and projects that are halfway finished on the benches. We don't have a big shiny showroom or a team of people in suits. It is just us, working with our hands and trying to make things look decent. The air in the morning is usually nice before the sun gets too high. We open up, tidy up a little, and then get straight into the work. Sometimes neighbors drop by just to say hello or ask what we are working on. We like being part of the Ganapathy Pudur community. It feels like a real neighborhood where people actually know each other. The work can be slow and tedious sometimes, but we don't mind that much. It is better than sitting in a cubicle all day. We just focus on the pieces we are making and hope they turn out okay. Nothing too complicated about it. We have been at this spot for a good while and don't plan on moving anywhere else soon. It is just a simple place for simple art work.
