You can find our office at 47, Bajanai Koil Street in Mettupalayam, within the Coimbatore district. It’s located on a street that has a lot of local character, with the temple nearby and people always walking past. Our space at Simplex Infrastructures Ltd here is pretty straightforward. We have a few desks, some old computers, and more folders than we know what to do with. The air can get quite warm, so we rely on the fans to keep us going through the afternoon. It’s not a fancy corporate environment. We don’t wear suits or have formal meetings with slideshows. Usually, we are just talking over the desk or checking things on a clipboard. Mettupalayam is a busy junction, and our office reflects that energy. There is always someone coming in from a site with mud on their shoes or a contractor looking for a signature. We keep things simple and practical. The walls have a few project photos pinned up, but they are mostly there to cover up some old marks on the paint. We don’t mind the lack of polish because the work is what matters. Most of the staff comes from nearby areas, so there is a lot of local talk and shared lunches. It’s an honest day’s work in a humble office. We just do what needs to be done to keep the projects moving forward without any fuss.
