When you walk in, you can tell it has been around for a few years. There are some cracks in the tiles and the ceiling fans make a bit of a clicking sound when they are on high. We do not mind it much. It is just part of the atmosphere here. Chennai heat is a real thing, so we usually have the windows closed and a small AC unit running to keep the equipment from overheating. We spend our days looking at tiny parts and managing orders. It is tedious work sometimes, but it keeps us busy. There is a small tea stall just a few doors down where we go when we need a break from the screens. The guys there know our orders by heart. We do not have a big HR department or a fancy receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it if someone knocks. It is a very casual setup, and we like it that way. We just focus on the semiconductors and try to stay cool in the humidity of the city.
