You can find us over at 40C Paratha Sarathi Street in Venkitapuram. We are Shriram Chits Tamilnadu (P) Ltd. Coimbatore is a busy place, and our street is no different. We have been here for a while now, right in the heart of the community. Most of our day is spent handling the chit groups. It is a lot of writing things down and checking the lists. We have a lot of local residents who come by every month. Some of them have been part of our groups for decades. We do not use any fancy talk or try to sell things people do not need. It is just about saving money together. The office is a bit small and can get crowded on the days when people come to pay their dues. Sometimes the power goes out, or the printer acts up, but we manage. We are not a big corporate office with hundreds of people. It is just a small team of us who know the area and the people. We like the fact that we can recognize most of the people who walk through the door. It makes the work feel a bit more personal. We just focus on keeping the auctions fair and making sure everyone gets what they are owed. It is an honest way to spend the day, and we plan to stay right here on Paratha Sarathi Street for years.
