We are situated at 190 / A-5 in the Sri Nager Industrial Estate, which is just past the main part of Coimbatore. This area is full of workshops and small factories, so there is always the sound of metal or machines in the background. Shimano (Singapore) Ptd Ltd operates out of this unit. It’s a very practical space with high ceilings and a lot of concrete. Coimbatore can get very hot, so the morning hours are usually when we get most of our heavy work done before the sun really hits the roof. The industrial estate has been here for a long time, and you can see that in the older buildings around us. Our address is 641 021, and we have been at this post for quite a while. We don't have a fancy lobby with a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up to see who is coming in. The floor is often covered in bits of packing material or dust from the road outside. We have a small area where we sit to eat our lunch, usually talking about the local news or the traffic. It’s a hardworking neighborhood. Everyone here is focused on their own production. We get along well with the guys in the units next to us. It’s not the cleanest or the quietest place to work, but it suits us just fine. Most days are long, but we just stick to the routine.
