Shanthi Gears Limited

We have been over here in Amman Nagar for quite a while now. Most people know the spot near S.I.H.S Colony. It is just a regular place where we get things done every day. The workshop gets pretty loud when the machines are all going at once, but that is just how it is. My father, K. Rajamani, started things off and now Sathyan is keeping it running. We handle a lot of different gears and mechanical parts. It’s not fancy, just some desks and the big shop floor in the back. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, especially in the summer when the wind picks up around Coimbatore-641014. We usually start early in the morning before it gets too hot. Most of our day is spent looking at drawings or checking the metal pieces. People stop by to ask about parts or just to see how work is coming along. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us doing the work we know. The neighbors know us well by now. If you are looking for the place, it is right at D/No.13. Sometimes the traffic on the way to the colony is a bit of a mess, but we make it work. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of metal get a bit high. It is just an honest living and we have been at it for years.
