If you're looking for us, we are located at No.365-A on Sarojini Naidu Street. It’s right along the Avarampalayam Main Road, which stays pretty busy with traffic throughout the day. Our shop is a bit small and packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of bearings. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and the place has a bit of a worn-in feel. There is usually a bit of grease on the counters and the smell of industrial oil in the air, but that's part of the job. We spend most of our time helping people find that one specific part they need for their machine or vehicle. Often, someone comes in with a broken piece and we have to dig through the boxes to find a match. It’s a lot of manual searching through catalogs and shelves. The overhead fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but we don’t mind it much. We know the local mechanics and factory workers who stop by. They often lean against the counter and chat for a bit while we look for their parts. It isn't a high-tech showroom. We use an old computer for some things, but a lot of it is just knowing where everything is stored. We just keep our doors open and try to help whoever walks in with a mechanical problem. It’s just a regular shop, and we’ve seen all sorts of bearings come and go over the years. We stay busy enough just keeping the stock organized.
