Sri Amman Textiles

Our place is located at No. 49/3 Ram Nagar, right along Odhimalai Road in Sellanur Annur. It is a good spot because the road stays busy and we get to see everything passing by. Sri Amman Textiles is basically a workspace for us to handle all kinds of cloth. We’ve got shelves filled with different materials and the smell of fresh fabric is always around. It’s not a polished showroom. It’s more of a working shop where things are constantly being moved from one corner to another. Sellanur is a decent place to be based. The neighbors are mostly doing similar work or running small shops, so we all know each other. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Mostly, we just talk to the people who come by the door or call us up. We focus on the actual textiles rather than spending time on fancy decorations. Sometimes the floor is covered in scraps and we have to do a big cleanup at the end of the week. It’s just a practical way of running things. We don't make big promises, we just show what we have on the shelves. Working in Annur feels right for us. It’s quiet enough to get work done but close enough to the main roads when we need to ship stuff out. We take things as they come and try to keep the stacks of fabric neat.
