Sat Merchant House

Sat Merchant House is over at 222/27 Jai Nagar 4th Street. We are situated near the Rakkiyapalayam Privu area, right off Kangeyam Road. If you are familiar with this part of town, you know it’s a hub for merchants and textile-related stuff. Our place is tucked away on the 4th street, so it’s slightly quieter than the main road, but not by much. We have a lot of samples lying around and desks piled with ledger books. The building is just a standard local setup. We spend the morning going through the orders that came in and the afternoon trying to get everything sorted for delivery. It gets pretty warm in the summer months, and we usually have a couple of fans going full blast. The tea stall at the corner of Kangeyam Road is where we usually get our morning fix. There’s no big corporate vibe here. It’s just us doing the merchant work, talking to suppliers, and checking the quality of what comes in. The neighborhood is full of similar businesses, so everyone kind of knows everyone else. We don’t have any flashy signs out front. People who need to find us usually know the way. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of numbers. We just stay focused on the tasks for the day and try to keep the stacks of goods from falling over.
