Religare

Religare is located at Block No. A- 2/4 in the Government Quarters area of Saravanampatti. It’s a bit of a specific place to get to, and you have to know which block you’re looking for. The office is tucked away and doesn’t have much in the way of decoration. We have some desks, a few filing cabinets, and a computer that’s a bit slow in the mornings. Most of our work involves dealing with a lot of forms and keeping the records straight. Saravanampatti has grown a lot lately, but our corner feels a bit like it’s tucked away from all that noise. We see people from the quarters coming by with their paperwork, and we just do our best to help them find what they’re looking for. It’s a lot of routine work, like checking numbers and filing papers into the right folders. Sometimes we run out of ink for the printer or the phone won’t stop ringing, and we just handle it as it comes. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a regular workplace where we show up and do what needs to be done. In the afternoons, when the sun hits the windows, it can get a bit warm, so we keep the windows open for a breeze. We’ve been here long enough that we know the names of the delivery people and the neighbors. It’s just a steady, quiet way to work through the week.
